Tiffanie K. Reynolds is a Founding Friend of the Friends of the Children – Houston Chapter, joining the team in June of 2023.
Tiffanie developed her love for children of all ages while growing up in her hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. She began serving in her local church working in the Youth Department’s after-school programs and volunteering with various agencies throughout the city. During her time in Fort Worth, Tiffanie developed a passion for extra-curricular activities such as dance, drama, and recreational sports throughout her childhood, a passion she shares with mentees and others now, into adulthood.
Tiffanie’s career has been homed in on children’s learning and development, qualities she believes makes her a great Friend. In her capacity as a Classroom Teacher, both in Texas and in Georgia, she served on committees such as Student Success, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, and Governance Council all which ensured student success by addressing and measuring students’ academic needs.
Over the last 10 years, Tiffanie’s experiences and education has made her a teacher, student, and practitioner of Conscious Discipline, and allowed her to train teachers in both curriculum and content with a special interest in Social-Emotional development. Tiffanie also held the position of Director of Academics and Curriculum where she helped students meet grade-level goals and graduation requirements and several administrative roles in Education.
Tiffanie Reynolds believes that “It takes a village to raise a child” and looks forward to partnering with families to support the children of our future.
