Sara Armstrong

Professional Mentor

Sara Armstrong is originally from Mobile, Alabama but has lived in Houston close to a decade. She graduated from the University of Houston in 2019 with a B.A. in Spanish and a minor in education. Sara dedicated her time and passion for learning as an educator for 5 years teaching Spanish to 7th-12th grade students both virtually and in a public school setting. Additionally Sara served as an assistant swim and water polo coach for two years.

During this time Sara developed her role as a mentor and was most fulfilled by this aspect of her teaching career. In addition to serving youth in her career, Sara has also volunteered as a children’s ministry director and currently participates in her church’s choir. Drawing upon this diverse experience in education, mentorship, and community leadership, Sara now serves as a professional mentor.

Deeply committed to advocating for youth and individuals facing adversity, She aims to provide tailored support and encouragement to help her mentees bridge gaps and build confidence. Sara's mentoring philosophy is rooted in the belief that progress, not perfection, is the key to long-term success and fulfillment, as she strives to create an empowering environment where mentees are inspired to take meaningful steps forward.
