Mary Bonner is a graduate social work student at the University of Houston with a passion for supporting children, adolescents, and individuals who are often overlooked or underserved. She supports by reducing barriers to mental health services and helping young people recognize that their circumstances do not define their future. MaryBea received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work at Baylor University.
MaryBea has experience working with children and adolescents in educational and behavioral health settings, where she has developed skills in building relationships, facilitating groups, advocating for clients, and supporting emotional regulation and social-emotional development.
MaryBea’s long-term goal is to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and provide trauma-informed therapy to at-risk youth. In MaryBea’s free time, she enjoys reading, painting, building Legos, and spending time with family.
