Lawren is a southside Chicago native and found her passion for working with the youth in 2018 with a range of working with local and global nonprofits. She attended Bradley University and obtained her B.A. in English-Creative Writing with a minor in Organizational Communication in 2020, while participating in many campus organizations, including being president of the club Women Who Empower. Her experience includes after school programming centered around leadership development, community engagement, and social justice. She also is certified in the Family Wellness Associates curriculum, promoting healthy relationships and independent growth to all ages.
In her free time, Lawren likes to sing, write music and poetry, watch football and reality tv, and laugh with friends! Lawren believes that it takes a village to raise a child and is motivated by her own experiences to be the best mentor she can be!
