Staff: Gavin Thomas

Gavin Thomas is an experienced educator and coach with a proven history of fostering growth in both academics and athletics. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2015 and has dedicated his career to teaching and mentoring students across various disciplines.

At Fallbrook Academy in Houston, TX, Gavin served as a middle school math teacher and math team lead from 2019 to 2023. He created engaging learning environments, coordinated math competitions, and inspired student achievement. He also contributed as an assistant volleyball coach, promoting teamwork, skill development, and leadership.

Gavin’s diverse teaching background includes leading art classes, coaching gymnastics, and managing self-contained classrooms for multiple grade levels. His experience in these roles strengthened his expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and student engagement. Additionally, his leadership roles as an assistant director and camp counselor further showcased his ability to organize and inspire youth.
