Program Manager

Alexis, originally from Connecticut, has over 10 years of experience in programs and supporting children, families, and underserved communities. She holds a B.S. in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Social Work. Throughout her career, Alexis has worked in refugee resettlement, mental health, disability services, and reentry programs. Her experience includes overseeing daily operations, supervising staff teams, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. She has designed and implemented programs tailored to client needs, managed budgets, and developed data systems to streamline operations and improve outcomes.

In previous roles, Alexis has served as a primary point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders, including case workers, healthcare professionals, guardians, and community organizations. She has extensive experience mentoring and training staff, fostering collaboration and creating professional development opportunities. Alexis is highly skilled in trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, employee relations, program compliance, and performance monitoring. She has developed processes to enhance program efficiency while ensuring client safety and regulatory compliance.

Alexis is deeply committed to creating safe, supportive environments where both clients and staff can thrive. She believes in empowering individuals through compassion, guidance, and innovative solutions, while cultivating team environments that encourage growth, collaboration, and excellence. Passionate about the arts, particularly painting, she integrates creativity into her work as a tool for personal and community healing.
