Staff: Alba Lucia (AL) Garcia

Alba Lucia (AL) Garcia was born and raised in Mexico and is currently pursuing a graduate degree at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. They earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with minors in GLBT Studies, English/Spanish Translation, and World Cultures and Literature.

Alongside their studies, AL works full time with the Harris County Clerk’s Office, Election Department in Compliance. Fluent in English, Spanish, Japanese, and French, AL brings a diverse skill set and global perspective to their work. In their free time, they enjoy reading, watching films, and drawing portraits.
