BOARD: Milam Newby

Milam Newby is the Managing Partner of the Austin office of Vinson & Elkins, where he advises on and leads transactions in an array of industries, including technology, financial services, manufacturing, life sciences, chemicals, transportation, and energy. Milam is also Head of the firm’s Technology practice.

Milam is the current Board Chair of Friends of the Children – Texas. Milam is also on the Board of Directors of Friends of the Children – Austin and previously served as Board Chair.
